Ausherman Painting Completes Free Painting Project at Fire Museum of York County

York, PA — April 5, 2026 — Ausherman Painting proudly announces the continuation of our community offering free painting project at the Fire Museum of York County, located at 757 West Market Street, in partnership with the York History Center on April 5, 2026.

As part of its ongoing commitment to giving back to the local community, Ausherman Painting is donating its labor to refresh and enhance key areas of the historic museum. Ausherman Painting free painting project aims to preserve and protect the building’s structure and appearance.

“We’re honored to support an organization that plays such an important role in preserving York County’s history,” said Zach Ausherman, owner of Ausherman Painting. “The Fire Museum is a unique architectural gem of our community, and we’re proud to contribute to its upkeep and continued success.”

The Fire Museum of York County showcases the rich history of firefighting in the region, featuring antique fire apparatus, equipment, and educational exhibits. One of the historic sites operated by the York County History Center, the museum serves as both a historical archive and a community resource.

“This building has a long history in the community,” said History Center President and CEO Benjamin Neely. “We have tried to be good stewards of it in the 33 years it has been in our care. We’re grateful to Ausherman Painting for the generosity and professionalism they have provided in helping with that stewardship.”

This project reflects Ausherman Painting’s dedication not only to quality craftsmanship but also
to strengthening the community it serves.
